3 science-based modalities for removing your blocks

Heart disease, diabetes, addiction, and mental health issues have all been linked to stress and tension.*

Activating the relaxation response is the key to solving these mental and physical blocks.

The relaxation response is the body’s physiological response in relaxation, including lowered blood pressure to counter the fight-or-flight response and activation of the parasympathetic nervous system.

Activating the relaxation response in your body will unleash a flood of new healing energy already within you.

We trigger this relaxation response through our 3 modalities of meditation, breathwork, and sound healing to completely unblock you.

Modality #1: Meditation

Meditation is the first modality for triggering the relaxation response.

Meditation, including systems such as mindfulness-based meditations, has shown promise in inducing the relaxation response and helping alleviate anxiety and improve well-being.*

Studies from Harvard have also shown benefits against an array of conditions both physical and mental, including irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, psoriasis, anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.**

They also found increased gray-matter density in the hippocampus, known to be important for learning and memory, and in structures associated with self-awareness, compassion, and introspection.***

Modality #2: Breathwork

Breathwork is our 2nd modality for removing inner blocks for optimal mental and physical health.

How can breathing heal you? Stress suppresses the immune system, increasing susceptibility to colds and other illnesses.

Breathwork invokes the relaxation response, through a technique first developed in the 1970s at Harvard Medical School by cardiologist Dr. Herbert Benson****.

We include specific breathwork exercises to trigger the relaxation response to create a state of profound rest.

Modality #3: Sound Healing

Sound healing has been used for centuries and been utilized in various forms by cultures the world over.

A study documented in the National Center for Biotechnology Information examined the effects of sound meditation.*

Following the sound meditation, participants reported significantly less tension, anger, fatigue, and depressed mood. Feeling of spiritual well-being significantly increased across all participants. They also experienced a large reduction in physical pain and a strong reduction in tension.

That's why we made sound healing the 3rd and final modality to help activate your relaxation response.

Is this workshop beginner friendly?

Beginners can certainly attend, but this event is catered to teach more advanced techniques. We recommend attending a few of our free beginning meditation classes first.

Do I need to travel?

No travel is needed, we will be hosting the workshop on Zoom so you can attend from home.

How long is the workshop?

The workshop will be for 3 hours and will also include a Q&A session to ask any questions you have.

Is the workshop interactive?

Yes, I will guide the group during the workshop through meditation, breathwork, and sound healing exercises. You will also be able to ask me questions live on the workshop.

Will it be recorded?

No, we are doing this event live. We want to make sure we provide the best experience and interact with you on the workshop.
